Funding, Fees & Charges

Woodborough Village Preschool is proud to be a community setting which runs without making a profit.  Our approach is to use all of our income and reinvest it right back into the setting.

This puts Woodborough Village Preschool in a unique position where it can genuinely offer both the best possible childcare and education, but keep our prices at an affordable rate for the community.

Our hourly rate is £7.30 per hour which includes all actives for children attending the sessions.

Late Collection Fee

To ensure we can continue to run safely and fairly for all families, we ask that children are collected promptly at the end of their booked session. Late collection has a direct impact on staffing, safeguarding ratios, and premises costs, as two members of staff must remain on site until every child has been collected.

From 23rd Feb 26, the following late‑collection charges will apply:
•     £10 late collection fee if a child is not collected by the end of their booked session
•     Plus £1 per minute after the first 10 minutes

These charges reflect the additional staffing and premises costs incurred when a child is collected late. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a smooth, safe, and respectful end to each session.

Optional Charges

Hot Lunches & Desert - are available at £3.35 per meal prepared fresh everyday by Woodborough Wood's Primary School. These are booked on the day and children are free to bring packed lunches if preferred. Download Sample Dinner Menu here.

Parties - £10 per event - These are charged on a purely voluntary basis, parents can chose not to contribute to paid activities and their child will still be allowed to participate. We generally have 3 parties a year.

Consumable Items - Nappies, Suncream, Wipes. If required we can supply these items at a cost of £2 per day, alternatively you are welcome to provide you own items for staff to use.

Funding Loop

To make the funding process simpler for parents and carers we use Funding Loop.

What is Funding Loop?

In order to claim Early Years Funding for your child, you must complete a “Parental Declaration” form, providing various bits of information about you and your child. These forms must be completed multiple times throughout the child’s attendance at the nursery, and most of the information that goes on the forms has already been provided to the nursery, most likely during registration. Printing, handing out, completing and returning these paper forms is a time consuming process for everyone involved.

Funding Loop allows you to complete and return these Parental Declaration forms online, using a computer or a mobile device at your convenience. Better yet, since a lot of the information is already known to the nursery, most of the information on the form is already filled in.

Seamless Form Completion

Experience a guided, hassle-free process for managing your child’s funding forms.

  • Receive a simple email invitation to access the system.
  • Complete forms step by step on desktop or mobile.
  • Take and upload pictures of birth certificates and other documents.

Access your Funding Loop parent login here

 What is Funding Loop NOT?

Funding Loop is not affiliated with your Local Authority in any way, it is simply a tool that makes getting Parental Declaration forms completed easier for the nursery and the parent or carer.

Funding Loop will NOT re-check 30 hours codes every 3 months for parents who are eligible. You MUST revalidate your codes with HMRC every 3 months in order to continue to receive extended hours funding.
